This February the Japan Foundation, Toronto is proud to present JFF Plus: Online Festival, the Canadian edition of the Japanese Film Festival. Cinephiles and Japanese culture enthusiasts can take a deep dive into contemporary cinema from Japan and enjoy 17 feature films from a variety of genres, including drama, documentary, thriller and comedy, and 11 animation films. In the fourth meeting of the Online Network for Heritage Language Education, there will be activity reports from Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba, Montreal Japanese Language Center, and The Japanese School of Toronto Shokokai Inc., followed by time for networking and discussion.
This special program for Fiscal Year 2020 is intended to provide urgent support for various kinds of new activities in response to COVID-19, such as preparation and training for online lessons/events/teaching materials, implemented by overseas organizations involved in Japanese-language education in Canada.
