If you would like to be added to a waiting list in case someone cancels\, please email koza@jftor.org by February 24th. \nSaturday March 12  | Online | Japanese + English interpretation \n\nSection 1: 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm EST [FULL]\nSection 2: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm EST [FULL]\n\nRegistration Deadline: Thursday February 22nd\, 2022 \n\nWhat is Onoresho?\nOnoresho (https://www.onoresho.jp/information/) is a creative form of calligraphy where you “draw” characters in a meaningful way that makes sense to YOU\, giving you the freedom to express yourself without needing to follow specific rules. Unleash your creativity and craft your very own “legible” painting in Your Own Calligraphy “Onoresho” Workshop! \nIn this workshop\, you will be walked through Onoresho and how to use the calligraphy pen\, and use the Hiragana characters to create your own design. \n\n\nTools: A calligraphy brush pen\, blank postcards\, and A4-size practice paper will be mailed to registrants for free.\n\n\nParticipation Requirements:\n\n\n\nStudents currently registered in our Japan Foundation\, Toronto Japanese Language Classes\, or\nNihongo Salon participants\n*you will require a camera and microphone to participate\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuota: 22 Participants maximum per section\n\n\nInstructor: Dr. Yukiyo Hamakawa from Onoresho Kotoha Doujou (https://www.instagram.com/kotoha.koryu.salon/)\n\n\nFor inquiries: Please contact the Japanese Language Team at koza@jftor.org
