DESCRIPTION:HUSH FILM SCREENING > July 12\, 2018 1:00 PM please RSVP below\n \n\nHush! ハッシュ！\n\nJune 22\, 2018 6:30 PM  &  July 12\, 2018 1:00 PM \n\nDirected by Ryosuke Hashiguchi [2002] 135 min.\n\n\n\n\n\nCelebrate Pride with us this summer by watching four films in the PRIDE FILM SERIES that look at LGBTQ diversity in Japan. \n\n\nThe first full-length feature in five years from director Ryosuke Hashiguchi\, known for gay-themed films like A Touch of Fever and Like Grains of Sand.\n\n\n \n\nAsako has always avoided deep relationships\, but after a chance encounter with gay couple Katsuhiro and his partner Naoya\, she feels compelled to have a child with Katsuhiro through artificial  insemination. \n\nNaoya and Katsuhiro are flabbergasted when she makes the proposition\, but gradually begin to open up to the idea of having a baby.\n\n\nTheir various friends and family members try to lecture them on what a family is\, but Naoya and Katsuhiro have already left old ideas of family behind\, and their families’ words fall on deaf ears.
