Seduced by these southern Japanese islands\, once an independent kingdom\, he left Switzerland to settle there. Ten years later\, he shares his fondness for Okinawa but also reflects on the archipelago’s identity\, threatened by the U.S. military presence and excessive urban development.  \nDuring their struggle against the U.S. military bases\, the Okinawan people have found the ability to peacefully resist. They have been able to maintain an indomitable identity\, which fascinates even the mainland Japanese. SUMMARY:JFT Online ‘Can-Do’ Workshop for Japanese-Language Teachers
DESCRIPTION:JFTオンライン日本語教師研修\n学習者の「できる(Can-Do)」を実現する副教材の作成と評価     　 \n言語教育の意義は、21世紀以降大きな変容を遂げてきました。言語教育の場を、学生が社会に能動的に参加し貢献するための準備、あるいは実践の場と捉える認識が顕著になり、それを目標に掲げた教育実践はますます拡大しています。特に、学習のパフォーマンス・ゴールをCan-Do Statementsを用いて明確に示し、そのゴールに向かってコースや授業を設計すること、そして各単元やコース終了時には教師だけでなく学習者自身がゴールの到達度を評価することの必要性が強調されています。 \n本研修会では新たに示唆されている教育法に個々の教師が柔軟に対応できるよう、実践の理論と具体的な方法を再確認したいと思います。研修会のゴールは、レベルと目的に合ったCan-Doを設定し、その達成を目指すための適切な授業案、教材、およびアセスメントを作成できるようになることです。研修では、過去十数年の間に普及した「task-based language learning」「action-oriented approach」などの課題遂行型学習の理論を概観し、その後、適切なCan-Doを立てることに実際に取り組みます。さらに、バックワードデザインに則って、ゴール達成を支える教材の効果的な活用法を検討し、現実的な場面設定に基づくパフォーマンス評価について意見交換を行います。現場での成功例やチャレンジを参加者同士が共有しながら、学習者の能動的な社会参加を目標とする教育についてアイデアを出し合い、互いに学び合う場にできればと考えています。 \n日時：2024年6月22日（土）、7月13日（土）午後2時 ～ 4時（東部夏時間） \n対象者：日本語教師で、以下に同意される方（先着30名まで） \n\nグループワーク中はカメラオンで参加できること（聴講不可）\nPCで参加できること（スマホ、タブレットでの参加は不可）\n\n※お申し込み多数の場合、カナダ在住の日本語教師の方を優先します。 \n使用言語：日本語 \n研修スケジュール：内容は変更になる場合がございますので、予めご了承ください。\n１日目（6月22日）： \n\nJFS\,Candoについて\n評価について（１）\n\n２日目（7月13日）： \n\n評価について（２）\n情報交換会\n質疑応答\n\n講師：櫻井　陽子先生（フォーダム大学・ニューヨーク市立大学バルーク校） \nお茶の水女子大学日本語教育学修士。東京都内の日本語学校に於ける就学生の大学・大学院進学のための日本語教育を経て、2007年よりニューヨーク市の各種日本語教育機関で教務に従事。2012年から2019年にかけて、国際交流基金ニューヨーク日本文化センターJF日本語教育コースの主任講師を務める。在任中はCan-Do Statementsを活用した日本語コースの開発に努めた。現在、フォーダム大学、及びニューヨーク市立大学バルーク校日本語非常勤講師。 \nお問い合わせ先：齋藤典子　Noriko_Saito@jpf.go.jp
