SUMMARY:JFT Book Club (Hybrid) – With Silent Reading Time – Japanese Architecture\, Civil Engineering\, and Landscapes
DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all those who participated in JFT Book Club (Hybrid) – With Silent Reading Time – Japanese Architecture\, Civil Engineering\, and Landscapes!\n  \nSharing some comments from our participants!\n “Excellent interaction\, great Library staff\, friendly and welcoming.”\n— Anonymous \n“Unfortunately\, while I could not attend the entire session\, I did enjoy the interaction I had with the wonderful library staff and participants. The ice breaking session was excellent too. With every ice breaking session I always learn something new and this session was a similar experience. I enjoyed the fact that the participants were enthusiastic and happy to share their varied backgrounds and reasons for picking different types of books. The Padlet introductions is another great way for everyone to share and learn about other participants. Additionally\, I also want to thank the library staff for collating the list of books discussed during the meeting. It is very helpful and I really appreciate it.\nI am truly grateful for the time and effort taken to develop this interesting book club session. I now have a new found appreciation and am very interested to learn more about the Japanese architecture now.\nThank you for conducting this interesting and wonderful book club session. Looking forward to more sessions.”\n—Johan \n Please continue to check the JFT’s website and newsletters for future book club information.\n \n \nJourney Through Japan’s Built Heritage with Books & Connect Over Shared Curiosity! \nInspired by the JFT Gallery’s current exhibition\, our upcoming book club meeting will explore Japanese Architecture\, Civil Engineering\, and Landscapes! \nWhether you’re a book lover or simply curious about Japan’s built heritage\, join us in person or virtually from anywhere in the world.
