DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning more about our year-long “Japanese Together” language courses? \nThis August\, we will be hosting drop-in information sessions for the three levels that will be available in the 2017-2018 school year: \n・Starter Course: Japanese Together 1\n・Pre-Intermediate Course: Japanese Together 4\n・Intermediate Course: Japanese Together 5 \nIf you would like to know more about how our classes are run\, or are not quite sure which level is right for you\, please join us for one or more of these information sessions! Each one will contain a general overview of our classes\, as well as sample activities to let you know what level of Japanese will be covered and what will be expected of students. \n* Please note that these information sessions are not language classes. \nInformation Sessions Schedule\nTwo sessions will be held for each level\, with the same content repeated for that level’s sessions. (For example\, both “Japanese Together 1” sessions will cover the same information and sample activities.) \nIn particular\, as some of our courses can be of a seemingly similar level\, if you are not sure which level is right for you\, or if you find the level of the information session you attended was too easy or too difficult\, we invite you to try out the other levels as well! \n\n\n\n\nStarter Course:\nJapanese Together 1\n\nSession 1: Tuesday\, August 8th\n 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm\nSession 2: Tuesday\, August 29th\n2:00 pm – 3:00 pm\n\n\n\nPre-Intermediate Course:\nJapanese Together 4\n\nSession 1: Tuesday\, August 8th\n 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm\nSession 2: Tuesday\, August 29th\n6:00 pm – 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nIntermediate Course:\nJapanese Together 5\n\nSession 1: Thursday\, August 10th\n 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm\nSession 2: Thursday\, August 31st\n6:00 pm – 7:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n* Each session is held on the same day and time as the corresponding course starting in September\, and will run for approximately 1 hour. \nWhat is “Japanese Together?”\nAt the Japan Foundation\, Toronto\, we offer term-based Japanese Together language courses using the textbook series Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture\, which was developed by the Japan Foundation. Marugoto is a textbook based on the Japan Foundation Standard for Japanese Language Education (or “JF Standard” – for more information\, please click here). Through studying with us in our Japanese Together language courses\, you will learn to complete various “Can-do” in Japanese! \nWe offer courses for everyone from complete beginners (Japanese Together 1) to intermediate speakers(Japanese Together 5). \nNot sure which level is right for you?\nClick here for an online level checker which will guide you to see which “Japanese Together” course might be suitable for your current level.
