The first workshop\, suitable for anyone who is interested in teaching Japanese\, will deal with teaching kanji. Unlike grammar or conversation\, do you find yourself tending to put off thinking about kanji instruction? Teach the meaning\, reading\, stroke order\, “and the rest you can do yourself” Is that really how it’s supposed to go? Have you ever wondered if there’s not another way? In this workshop we will share useful information about kanji instruction\, and think about what support we can give students.\nIn order to allow ample time for teachers to discuss their experiences and issues with kanji instruction\, we have made this a four-hour workshop.
