DESCRIPTION:Interested in learning Japanese but not sure where to begin? Join us for Let’s Learn Hiragana! In this class we will learn hiragana\, one of the basic components of written Japanese. Together we will learn how to read and write basic greetings\, and other vocabulary in Japanese. \nThis is a three week class running on the following Thursdays. SUMMARY:Vancouver JLPT Information Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Please note that some of the session times have changed! \nWe are taking our yearly Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) information sessions to the west coast this year. Join us in JLPT host city Vancouver to make sure you are ready for this December’s JLPT! These sessions are suitable for those interested in or planning to take the JLPT\, and will cover: \n\nExplanation of the JLPT\nRegistration procedure\nSample questions from the JLPT\n\nThe sessions are divided by JLPT level with N1 being the highest and N5 being the lowest. During the sessions we will look at some test questions so if you are unsure which level to take feel free to register for more than one! \nWe will also have a general information session open to everyone (educators\, guardians\, students of all levels welcome!) on Friday evening. This session will provide a general overview of the exam and registration process\, without focusing on specific levels. At the end of January we will be having a special New Year’s Japanese class where students can learn about the New Year’s customs as well as actually partake in some new years games and food*.
