The third workshop\, suitable for anyone who is interested in teaching Japanese\, will deal with classroom activities and will be run by Ms. Mami Saito\, Japanese-Language Education Advisor at Alberta Education. We will reflect on the activities currently being performed\, and examine their content as a group. Many learners these days are people who were born or brought up during the age of digital / internet technology (so called “digital natives”) and can attain a wide range of knowledge outside the classroom. What kind of role can teachers play for such learners?
