CAJLE（Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education: カナダ⽇本語教育振興会）は⼀年に⼀回、講演、教師研修、各種発表、総会、懇親会などを組み⼊れた⼤会を開催しています。⽇本語教育、⽇本語学に関する情報や意⾒を交換し、参加者同⼠が親睦を深めながら学ぶ貴重な場となっています。詳細はCAJLEウェブサイト（ www.cajle.ca ）をご覧ください。

研究発表は、 ⼤会テーマに関わる発表 を歓迎しますが、他に⽇本語教育、⽇本語学、継承語教育などの理論的考察、実践報告、また教材開発などを扱ったものなど幅広く募集いたします。発表は、⼝頭発表およびポスター発表を募集いたします。特に、カナダにおける⽇本語教育に貢献できるような発表を歓迎します。全ての実践報告や学術研究等 の発表はその信頼性や公正性を確保するための配慮があることが求められます。 発表⾔語は⼝頭発表・ポスター発表、いずれも⽇本語、英語、あるいはフランス語とし、 アブストラクトの⾔語を発表⾔語としま す 。
応募資格
発表者は当会会員に限ります。共同発表者も含め応募時に⼊会⼿続きがお済みでない場合は、選考の対象となりませんので、ご注意下さい 。また発表時も会員資格があることが求められます。⼊会案内は こちら をご覧ください。なお、共同発表を含めて、応募は⼀⼈⼀題までとします。

CAJLE (Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education) 2023 Annual Conference
CAJLE (Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education) holds an annual conference which includes lectures and workshops by guest speakers, as well as presentations and a general meeting. The conference provides a great opportunity for participants to exchange information and opinions on Japanese language education and Japanese linguistics. The CAJLE 2023 Annual Conference will take place in Montreal. More information will be posted on CAJLE website ( http://www.cajle.ca/ ).
Theme: Japanese Language Education into the Future: Unlearning Teaching Practices in the Increasingly Diverse Society

We invite submission of abstracts for paper presentations and poster presentations on topics including, but not limited to, Japanese linguistics, Japanese language pedagogy, Japanese as a heritage language, as well as innovative teaching techniques. Submissions related to the conference theme are especially welcome . Presentations may be given in either Japanese, English or French with the abstract written in the language of the presentation.
Individuals may submit only one proposal as presenters or co-presenters. Presenters, including co-presenters, must be members of CAJLE. Non-members will be required to submit a membership application prior to submitting a proposal . The membership information can be found here .
We will publish the conference proceedings online ( previous issues of the proceedings ).
Guidelines for CAJLE Conference Proceedings
Length of manuscript: 4 ~ 10 pages
Submission deadline: Monday, September 11, 2023
Also, selected presentations at the conference will be invited after the event for submission to Journal CAJLE , Volume 25 (to be published in summer of 2024). Journal CAJLE also accepts general submissions.
