Online Marugoto Course: Observe a Class

Here at the Japan Foundation, Toronto our Japanese language courses are open to observation to offer teachers and students in Canada a chance to learn about and learn through the Japan Foundation’s Marugoto textbook series as well as the JF Standard for Japanese Language Education*. For student observers, please note that the Marugoto courses aim to provide an immersive learning experience by having the instructors speak primarily in Japanese, even for the Starter and Elementary levels.

*Since our new Advanced (B2) class does not use the Marugoto textbook, it is not available for observation.

Please refer to the observation calendar for 2025-26 class observation dates. For information about our online Marugoto Japanese Language Courses, please click here.
