This special program for Fiscal Year 2020 is intended to provide urgent support for various kinds of new activities in response to COVID-19, such as preparation and training for online lessons/events/teaching materials, implemented by overseas organizations involved in Japanese-language education in Canada.
To obtain an accurate picture of the current state of Japanese-language teaching around the world, the Japan Foundation conducts a survey of overseas organizations offering Japanese-language courses every 3 years. The JFT Online ‘Sawakai’ for Japanese Teachers is a place where teachers can share with others how their online classes are going. All topics are welcome, including if you have any ideas you would like to try out, anything you feel a little stuck on, etc.
