THREE STORIES OF LOVE 恋人たち

Directed by: RYOSUKE HASHIGUCHI 2015, 140 min. [Drama]
Starring: Atsushi Shinohara, Tōko Narushima, Ryō Ikeda, Lily Franky, Ken Mitsuishi

Director Hashiguchi Ryosuke returns with his first feature-length drama in seven years since All Around Us. Its three leads are relative unknowns chosen in auditions by Hashiguchi, who wrote their roles specially for them. The end product is a detailed depiction of the emotions of people dealing with the tribulations of life.

Atsushi (Shinohara Atsushi) lost his wife to a random killer on the street. Toko (Narushima Toko) lives with her disinterested husband and uncongenial mother-in-law. Shinomiya (Ikeda Ryo) is an elite lawyer and gay man. As change comes to their existences, they gradually become aware of the preciousness within everyday life.
