The Japan Foundation, Toronto will be open from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 for Doors Open Toronto presented by Great Gulf.
This year’s theme is “Secrets and Spirits … Exploring the Mysteries Behind the Door”. You can learn about Japanese ghosts, monsters and spirits in the library, and hear Japanese ghost storytelling!
No RSVP necessary, each performance is about 10 min.

The 15th annual Doors Open Toronto presented by Great Gulf is a city-wide celebration offering free, rare access to more than 155 architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across Toronto.
This year’s theme is Secrets and Spirits… Exploring the Mysteries Behind the Door. Close to 80 locations feature secret spaces, stories of spirit sightings and unexplained mysteries. Look for the mysterious keyhole icon while browsing the list of participating buildings or walking tours.
Doors Open is produced by the City of Toronto in partnership with the broader community.
