This feature anime takes place in 1814 Edo period and depicts the complex relationship between world renowned artist Katsuhika Hokusai and his daughter O-Ei. Based on the historical manga by artist and Edo period lifestyles researcher Hinako Sugiura.

In conjunction with the upcoming  print exhibition of another famous Ukiyoe artist Landmarks From Before It Was Called Tokyo: HIROSHIGE’s ONE HUNDRED FAMOUS VIEWS OF EDO
