Calling creative souls everywhere (at JFT)! Learn how to create your unique “Onoresho” design using Hiragana.

What is Onoresho?
Onoresho (https://www.onoresho.jp/information/) is a creative form of calligraphy where you “draw” characters in a meaningful way that makes sense to YOU, giving you the freedom to express yourself without needing to follow specific rules. Unleash your creativity and craft your very own “legible” painting in Your Own Calligraphy “Onoresho” Workshop!
In this workshop, you will be walked through Onoresho and how to use the calligraphy pen, and use the Hiragana characters to create your own design.
- Tools: A calligraphy brush pen, blank postcards, and A4-size practice paper will be mailed to registrants for free.
- Participation Requirements:

- Students currently registered in our Japan Foundation, Toronto Japanese Language Classes, or
- Nihongo Salon participants
*you will require a camera and microphone to participate
