YOSE ARTS Performances in Canada
A project of The Japan Arts Council in support of international art exchange

VENUE: The Japan Foundation, Toronto
Join us for an evening of Yose Arts, a traditional form of Japanese entertainment from the Edo period that centres around Rakugo, a form of comedy and storytelling. Together with Rakugo, there will be a Daikagura performance and Kami Kiri paper cutting performance.
Fortune favours those who laugh! Fully experience the energies of yose!! Don’t dare miss the English rakugo “Funatoku” (“Toku the Boatman”) along with Japanese pieces!!!
