Effective from March 3, 2022, The Japan Foundation Toronto’s digital library service will be renamed to The Japan Foundation OverDrive, to reflect the expansion of our digital library services across Canada and North America. Current users will be able to continue to use our digital library without disruption.
On web browsers, the URL link to JFT OverDrive will be changed to https://jf.overdrive.com. Users who enter the old web address will be redirected automatically to the new address and can continue to use the website. Please sign in with your library card number and PIN (last 4-digits of your phone number) if prompted.
On the Libby app, users already logged into The Japan Foundation Toronto OverDrive can continue to browse and borrow materials with no further action necessary.
Users who have the OverDrive app (mobile or desktop) installed will still be able to use it. However, as OverDrive no longer provides support and updates to the OverDrive app, we encourage all current users of the OverDrive app to transfer their content over to Libby.
