Online Marugoto Courses: Intermediate 3

Registration for Spring Term now open!


Our Intermediate 3 course will cover the other half of the B1-2 level of the JF Standard, and is designed for students who have completed our Intermediate 2 course and want to further improve their Japanese ability. During this course students will work towards the following goals:

  • Can take part in more complex communication, such as giving information about recent news, giving health advice, and talking about your country’s traditional arts and history.
  • Can read and understand a variety of texts, such as internet bulletin boards and magazine columns.

Course Details and Schedule

This course runs on a shorter schedule than our other Marugoto Online Courses. Each term consists of 5 classes, and covers one topic of the textbook Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture Intermediate 2 B1.

Our Intermediate 3 course runs Monday evenings, with the specific schedule as follows:

Maximum 16 students

Intermediate 3 Course Fees

Each term (Fall, Winter, Spring) costs $150. Payment is accepted only on a Term by Term basis.

The topic covered in each term will be selected from the textbook to fit the specific needs/interests of the students, so the order of chapters covered may not necessarily match the order within the textbook.

Textbooks are not included in the fees and students are expected to buy their own copies.
