Training Programs in Japan

Available to Canadian educational institutions to support the dissemination of Japanese-language and the development of Japanese-language education.

Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)

Held annually in Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

Additional Application: Fiscal Year 2021 Online Training Program for Teachers of the Japanese-Language

The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa will conduct a new “Online Training Program for Japanese-Language Teachers” in FY 2021. The application deadline for this online training program was December 2020, but the deadline has been extended to May 14, 2021 as the number of participants failed to meet capacity.
