In the fourth meeting of the Online Network for Heritage Language Education, there will be activity reports from Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba, Montreal Japanese Language Center, and The Japanese School of Toronto Shokokai Inc., followed by time for networking and discussion.
This special program for Fiscal Year 2020 is intended to provide urgent support for various kinds of new activities in response to COVID-19, such as preparation and training for online lessons/events/teaching materials, implemented by overseas organizations involved in Japanese-language education in Canada.
To obtain an accurate picture of the current state of Japanese-language teaching around the world, the Japan Foundation conducts a survey of overseas organizations offering Japanese-language courses every 3 years.
