Acclaimed Japanese Canadian recording artist and composer Ron Korb is a master of Japanese woodwinds. He has performed on numerous Grammy Award-winning albums and his own work has received many Grammy nominations. The evening is a rich musical interpretation of a traditional “Ohanami” (cherry blossom viewing party). Ron and his ensemble will be joined by koto and shamisen artist Aiko Fujii, the JCCC’s Kyowa Taiko traditional drum troupe, and Odori Dancers.
