Tales from Okinawa is a short film program spotlighting emerging indie filmmakers from the Okinawa Islands. From agriculture, bullfighting, and coffee cultivation, these three films will take you across Okinawa through the lens of their uplifting characters and their connection with nature.

Join us on June 4 for an educational documentary screening of "A Handful of Salt," with director ISHII Kaori tuning in for a livestream Q&A. This event is also to honour everyone affected by the January 1st Noto Peninsula Earthquake. A part of our Cinema Umami food film series.
