Our annual event returns to the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema (formerly Bloor Hot Docs Cinema) in January 2017 with three films about families that come together in unexpected ways.
A stoic warrior longs for his far-away family, and finds surprising companionship in a kidnapped cat. Three friends rely on each other for laughter and support while negotiating work, love and family matters. The stubborn but incompetent heir to a royal cooking family reluctantly learns the way of the kitchen knife from his spirited new wife.
