Japanese Boot Camp

In this intensive 2 week course, students will cover the A1 level of the JF Standard, using the Japan Foundation’s textbook Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture Starter A1 focusing on communicative language activities.

This course is for people who want to start using Japanese immediately, and students will gain practical ability communicating in everyday situations.

General topics covered include: Japanese, Myself, Food, Home, Daily Life, Holidays and Days Off, Towns, and Shopping.

Two sessions will be held:

July 22 – August 2: Adults Boot Camp

For adult learners ages 18+

August 12 – August 23: Teens Boot Camp (cancelled)

For high school students ages 14+

Each session runs Monday to Friday from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm (with an hour break from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm) for 2 weeks.

Registration

Registration for both courses opens at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 1st.
To ensure a smooth processing of your application we recommend registering no later than 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Course Fees

The 2 week Boot Camp costs $700 (cash or cheque only), which includes the textbook and handouts.
