Have you ever wanted to wrap something in a furoshiki? Or had trouble figuring out okaeshi? Just in time for the holidays, we have a class looking at the language and culture surrounding gift-giving in Japan.

Come join us at the Japan Foundation to master okuru bunka (gift-giving culture) and learn a some new Japanese words and phrases along the way!

There is also an event at the Japan Foundation Toronto Library from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the same day, with tea ceremony demonstrations, a nengajou writing lesson, and more! Please visit the library’s website for more information!

Registration for this class is now closed. We thank everyone for their interest.
