From Edo to Meiji: Transformation of Japanese Ceramics
Ceramic exhibition with ROM
This special presentation of the collection of the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, reveals that Western modernization and the demand for exports influenced Japanese ceramics during the transitional period of the late Edo period to the Meiji period.
Admission: FREE
Due to the COVID-19 precautions, we are open in limited hourly slots, 4 days a week. Advanced, time-specific reservation is recommended. Hand-sanitization at the entry and wearing face-coverings on our premises are recommended.
Gallery Hours: Open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Hourly timeslots starting at 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM (4:30 PM and 5:30 PM on Thursdays)
Closed on select days: February 17 (Family Day Weekend), March 29-March 30 (Easter Weekend), May 18 (Victoria Day Weekend)
