日本語教師研修のお知らせ

国際交流基金トロント日本文化センター（The Japan Foundation, Toronto 以下、JFT）では、トロント近郊の日本語の先生方が日本語の教え方について学び合うことのできる場の提供を目指し、2015年度、全3回の日本語教師研修を実施いたします。第3回目は、国際交流基金派遣日本語上級専門家による「授業でのクラスアクティビティ」をメインテーマとしたワークショップを実施いたします。日本語教育にご興味をお持ちの方なら、どなたにもご参加いただける内容ですので、皆さま奮ってご参加ください。ご参加をご希望の方は以下よりお申込みください。

テーマ：それでいい？アクティビティ　－教室における教師の役割と学習者との距離

今回のワークショップでは日々の学習活動の中に多く取り入れられているクラスアクティビティに注目します。現在行っている教室活動を振り返り、その内容について参加者とともに検証をします。学習者の多くはインターネットやパソコンが普及した環境で育った世代（いわゆる「デジタルネイティブ」）で、いまや教室外で多くの知識を得ることができます。そのような現状で教室にやってくる学習者に対して、教師はどのような役割を担えるのか。デジタルコンテンツの扱い方もふまえて、アクティビティの内容や種別、効果的に実施するためにどうしたらいいのかを一緒に考えてみたいと思います。

Workshop for Japanese-Language Teachers

The Japan Foundation, Toronto (JFT) will hold three workshops in fiscal 2015, which aim to provide a place for teachers to learn together about teaching the Japanese language. The third workshop, suitable for anyone who is interested in teaching Japanese, will deal with classroom activities and will be run by Ms. Mami Saito, Japanese-Language Education Advisor at Alberta Education. Theme: Activities – “Is that really ok?”:
The role of the teacher in the classroom and the distance between teacher and learner

In this workshop, we will focus on classroom activities which are often incorporated into day-to-day learning activities. We will reflect on the activities currently being performed, and examine their content as a group. Many learners these days are people who were born or brought up during the age of digital / internet technology (so called “digital natives”) and can attain a wide range of knowledge outside the classroom. What kind of role can teachers play for such learners? In the context of dealing with this digital content, let’s think together on the content and type of activities, and how we can conduct activities so that they are carried out effectively.
