For many learners of Japanese, kanji present a significant hurdle in mastering the language. In this lecture, Dr. Yukiyo Hamakawa (Mejiro University) will not teach kanji, but instead look at how people can best learn them, including:

・Various methods to organize and create associations to better remember kanji.

・How to make learning more enjoyable – and effective.

・Where and how kanji learning is utilized.

Anyone who is interested in learning kanji, teaching kanji, or just learning about kanji is welcome to join!
