Please note that some of the session times have changed!

We are taking our yearly Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) information sessions to the west coast this year. Join us in JLPT host city Vancouver to make sure you are ready for this December’s JLPT! These sessions are suitable for those interested in or planning to take the JLPT, and will cover:

  • Explanation of the JLPT
  • Registration procedure
  • Sample questions from the JLPT

The sessions are divided by JLPT level with N1 being the highest and N5 being the lowest. During the sessions we will look at some test questions so if you are unsure which level to take feel free to register for more than one!

We will also have a general information session open to everyone (educators, guardians, students of all levels welcome!) on Friday evening. This session will provide a general overview of the exam and registration process, without focusing on specific levels. (Individuals interested in registering for specific levels are encouraged to attend the sessions on Saturday and Sunday instead of the general session.)

The session schedule is as follows:

Friday, Sept. 18th

  • General Session: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (1.5 hours)

Saturday, Sept. 19th

  • N5: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (2.5 hours)
  • N4: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM (2.5 hours)
  • N3: 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM (2.5 hours)

Sunday, Sept. 20th

  • N2: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (3 hours)
  • N1: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (3 hours)

※ Space is limited for all sessions (including the general session) so register now to ensure your spot!
