Everyone is welcome to participate in the very first Japanese Coming-of-Age Ceremony in Toronto!
Who can participate as “a new adult” ?
Anyone interested in Japanese culture, who will become 20 years of age in 2019, or anyone in their twenties who has never participated in Seijin Shiki.
Formal attire is highly recommended. Participating young adults can rent kimono such as Furisode and Hakama. Dressing, hair styling and make-up services are available with additional fees. (Reservation required) Personal photo shoot is also available with additional fees. (Reservation required)
