Due to the current situation, we have moved our Book Club online!

Join our Book Club to interact with JFT staff and other library users and to share your thoughts about a book of your choice.

Thursday, June 11, 2020 [3:00 pm – 4:00 pm]

Books may be from any section of the JFT library – both fiction and non-fiction.
*Books must be written originally in English or translated from original Japaneseto English or French*

Suggestions for choosing a book:

• Bring the book you currently have on loan and share what you’ve been reading while JFT Library was closed!
• Talk about the most memorable book you’ve read from JFT Library’s collection. If you still remember it, odds are, the book was just that good!
• Be creative with getting your reading materials! You can still find books by Japanese authors or about Japan. You can search whether the book is part of JFT’s collection in our catalogue.

The JFT Library Book Club will be conducted through Zoom. Please email the library at library@jftor.org to reserve your seat.

Once reserved, an email will be sent to you with a website link and log-in password to enter the online Zoom meeting.
Please be aware that space may be limited.
