Teacher Workshop: Reflecting on Kanji Instruction: How kanji can be learned particular to a classroom environment

On August 17 & 18 the Japan Foundation, Toronto along with the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Toronto and JSL Kanji Research Group are offering a two-day workshop for teachers of Japanese looking at kanji instruction where teachers are invited to reflect on their own instruction and work together to create new resources.

On May 5 from 1:30 – 3:30, Mr. Yoshifumi Murakami, Japanese-Language Education Advisor, Alberta Education (sponsored by the Japan Foundation) will introduce the basic knowledge to participate in online workshops as well as other online tools for self-training, as well as give a sampling of his “PD on Demand” workshops.
