Halloween 2023 at the Japan Foundation, Toronto

Immerse yourself in the world of yokai — Japanese ghosts and goblins!

In honor of Halloween, the Japan Foundation, Toronto will be holding events featuring Japanese ghosts and goblins in October, including a workshop on film sound effects by foley artist KOYAMA Goro, kamishibai storytelling of yokai stories, an anime film screening about the Kappa (water imp), and a yokai talk event with Professor Glynne Walley from the University of Oregon.

Visit us in costume to get candy for trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 21st!
